Health professionals from the Iloilo Provincial Health Office (IPHO) and the municipalities of San Dionisio and Maasin completed the Basic Training on Minimum Initial Service Package for Sexual and Reproductive Health (MISP-SRH).
The training strengthened the capability of healthcare workers to deliver life-saving sexual and reproductive health services during emergencies and disasters, particularly for women, pregnant mothers, children, and other vulnerable sectors.
It highlighted the importance of ensuring safe maternal care, preventing gender-based violence, and protecting the dignity and rights of affected communities during crisis situations.
Iloilo Provincial Health Office said that with enhanced knowledge, skills, and commitment, these health workers are now better prepared to provide quality, compassionate, and timely care to communities when they need it most.
