The Iloilo Provincial Government through the Office of the Provincial Veterinarian-Iloilo (OPV), is rolling out veterinary extension services across municipalities this February to enhance livestock health and productivity among local farmers.

The initiative includes deworming and vitamin supplementation, essential interventions to combat internal parasites, strengthen animal immunity, and improve overall growth.

These services are crucial in ensuring sustainable livestock farming, which is a key livelihood for many rural communities in Iloilo.

The OPV, in collaboration with LGU Agricultural Technicians, is spearheading the efforts, directly administering treatments to livestock in targeted areas.

Farmers are encouraged to coordinate with their respective Municipal Agriculture Offices for schedules and further assistance.
