To ensure the safety of the employees and the transacting public from dengue disease, the General Services Office and the Provincial Health Office, conducted an indoor residual spraying (IRS) and fogging at the Iloilo Provincial Capitol on July 6, 2024.

The indoor residual spraying covered the ground floor offices, public waiting area, information/front desk, canteen, hallways, comfort rooms, entrance and exit doors, outside walls, second-floor area, and the Casa Real de Iloilo.

The primary aim is to reduce the density and longevity of adult mosquitoes responsible for transmitting diseases like dengue.

The GSO also conducted fogging of the drainage and Capitol grounds.
