The OPSWDO and DepEd convened to explore strategic collaboration in enhancing mental health support for learners, teachers, and school communities under the Program for Resilience of Iloilo in Mind and Emotion (PRIME).
The meeting focused on aligning programs and services to ensure that psychosocial concerns identified in schools are properly addressed through the PRIME Helpline.
Key areas of support include psychological first aid, psychoeducation, crisis response, and referrals to appropriate services, as well as positioning the provincial helpline as an accessible and responsive platform to assist DepEd in addressing emerging mental health needs within schools.
