The Provincial Nutrition Council - Technical Working Group convened for its fourth quarter meeting on December 9, 2025 at Days Hotel Iloilo to discuss sectoral accomplishments for the year and review ongoing programs to combat malnutrition in the province of Iloilo.
A major focus was the province’s improving nutritional status - with data showing a consistent downward trend in the rates for stunting and wasting.
The TWG also discussed preparations for next year, including the Provincial Nutrition Action Plan for 2026-2028.
They also conducted a Christmas year-end activity to celebrate the province’s nutrition wins and strengthen camaraderie and partnership in the delivery of nutrition programs.
The meeting was conducted in partnership with Unilab Pediatrica.
