Motorists going to Oton and other southern Iloilo towns and the province of Antique can now use the 4.9 kilometer Iloilo Sunset Boulevard which traverses from the Megaworld complex in Brgy. Tabucan, Mandurriao up to Brgy. Cagbang, Oton.

This project is a brainchild of former Ilonggo senator Franklin Drilon who led the ceremonial blessing and ribbon-cutting ceremony today, January 24, 2025.
 
He was joined by Iloilo City Rep. Julienne “Jam-Jam” Baronda; Vice Mayor Jeffrey Ganzon; Raisa Treñas-Chu who represented Mayor Jerry Treñas; and Department of Public Works and Highways Assistant Regional Director Al Fruto; among others.

The P2.261-billion road project is designed to decongest traffic and improve transportation access between the city and province of Iloilo.
