Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr. has superbly presented the climate change situation, action and key next steps before the international participants and key experts in the UN-Habitat Learning forum on September 12, 2023, in Fukuoka, Japan.
The governor clearly articulated his "Purok Resilience" initiative, that is, putting science into the resettlement of communities in disaster-prone areas plus putting science on it.
Provincial Planning and Development Office Chief Mario Nillos joined the governor in the forum.
Defensor was the most asked presenter in the forum.
