PICAO Brings Services Closer To Estancia Residents Via ‘Hinun-Anon Sa Barangay’

PICAO BRINGS SERVICES CLOSER TO ESTANCIA RESIDENTS VIA HINUN ANON SA BARANGAY

The Public Information and Community Affairs Office  (PICAO) kicked off its "Hinun-anon sa Barangay" series for 2026 in the municipality of Estancia on March 25.

Held at the Pabahay Housing Village in Barangay Bulaqueña, the grassroots campaign served the residents from Barangays Bulaqueña, Tacbuyan, Poblacion Zone II, and Poblacion Zone III.

This initiative serves as a vital bridge between the provincial government and the public, providing a platform for residents to learn about available services and directly share their local concerns.

Representatives from the Jesus M. Colmenares District Hospital detailed medical services and health programs available to the community.

Mr. Jay Suganob of the Office of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office also informed the residents of the social services of the provincial government, particularly the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS).

He also noted that under the provincial government’s 4-day compressed workweek setup, AICS processing for the Fifth District clients is now temporarily scheduled every Tuesday and Wednesday.

With Estancia being a coastal municipality, Agriculturist Technical II Jude Sotomil presented the programs of the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist tailored for the fishing community.

PICAO extends its gratitude to Mayor Angelica Bianca Requinto and Municipal Administrator Engr. Arman Ravena for extending their help in ensuring the success of our activity.

We would also like to thank Hon. Rena Bersabal of Bulaqueña for hosting our activity and to Barangay Captains Hon. Edwin Mendoza of Poblacion Zone III, Hon. Junjun Lomugdang of Poblacion Zone II,  and Hon. Roy Rogales of Tacbuyan for their invaluable support.
