Clients and employees of the Iloilo Provincial Capitol will soon enjoy free public Wi-Fi, thanks to the generous donation from Lions Club International Foundation and ARTBI Global Philippine Corporation.

During the turn-over ceremony today, Iloilo Provincial Administrator Raul Banias received the Wi-Fi equipment on behalf of Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr.

4th District Board Member Domingo Oso, Jr., who is a part of the Lions Club, presented the benefits of the free public Wi-Fi especially to clients.

Meanwhile, the service provider assured the provincial government of strict data security measures, ensuring that users can connect without concerns over privacy.

The installation of the Wi-Fi equipment shall commence this month.

Mayors from various local government units (LGUs), who are also beneficiaries of the project, attended the event.
