43 LGUS TO RECEIVE LAPTOPS TO BOLSTER EMPLOYMENT FACILITATION

Governor Arthur Defensor, Jr. led, during the flag-raising ceremony today, the ceremonial turnover of laptops to the 43 municipalities and one component city in a move to bolster local employment initiatives through the implementation of programs and services of the Public Employment Service Office (PESO).
 
These laptops will support the implementation of the Employment Facilitation and Protection System (EFPS), a computerized platform aimed at efficiently managing a database of workforce skills and connecting them with business opportunities.

Receiving the computer units were Barotac Viejo's Mayor Nielo C. Tupas and PESO Manager Eva Causing, Tigbauan Vice Mayor Hon. Lugen T. Ortilano and PESO Manager Ronnel Conadera, Tubungan Vice Mayor Hon. Leo Cezar Taypen, SB Member Hon. Vicente Gargaritano, Jr., and PESO Manager Emelyn Tano, Alimodian SB Member Eden Faye Almendral and PESO Manager Marysol Amarillo, and Zarraga Chief of Staff Atty. Earl Buendicho and Tourism Officer Ms. Joana Marie Pinuela of Zarraga.

The event highlighted the commitment of the provincial government to empower local communities and enhance employment opportunities, underscoring the collaborative effort in advancing economic growth and job creation in the region.
