Research Triangle Institute (RTI) International led by its President and Chief Executive Officer Timothy James Gabel paid a courtesy visit to Gov. Arthur Defensor, Jr. on April 11, 2024.
With him are Executive Vice President for International Development Paul Weisenfeld, Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer Jorge Elguera, Senior Director for International Development Ami Thakkar, and Senior Vice President for Corporate Communications, Scientific Stature Services and Community Affairs Kami Spangenberg.
RTI International is the implementer of USAID's ReachHealth project which has provided support to the provincial government's programs on family planning, adolescent reproductive health, and Universal Health Care.
The delegates also witnessed the Project Tib-ong sa Kabataan conducted by the Provincial Health Office in collaboration with DepEd Iloilo, Philippine Red Cross, and USAID at Mina National High School earlier this morning.
The activity was aimed at addressing the various health concerns among adolescents through advocacy lectures and delivery of health services in coordination with the Rural Health Unit.
